See photo tips
- Frame it
- Use an ordinary relaxed photo with the pet's face and body visible; do not pose, costume, restrain, or ask the animal to perform.
- Light
- Choose even light with clear eyes, coat or scales, full body outline, and no obstruction.
- Background
- A familiar uncluttered setting helps, but the living pet must remain the clear subject.
An empty bookshelf, reading nook, or book-lined room familiar to the family.
Places the story inside the setting from your photo.
See photo tips
- Frame it
- Photograph the whole reading space in an ordinary unstaged view with its main shape and surrounding safe area visible; do not include or pose the pet.
- Light
- Use clear even light so the reading space's colors, edges, texture, and important visual details remain visible.
- Background
- Remove people, addresses, private documents, screens, fragile items, cords, and any real hazard from view.
