What the product stores, and why.
Glimmerproof stores the minimum product records needed to run accounts, deliver videos, honor privacy choices, and reconcile credits.

We store your email, display name, password hash, sessions, uploads, video status, privacy decisions, likes, community reports and moderation actions, credit ledger, and purchase references. Passwords are hashed by the account service and are never stored as plain text.
Photos and videos
Source photos are private and enter expiry cleanup at 23 hours if a terminal path has not already removed them. Finished videos remain private unless you explicitly publish them. Switching a community video to private blocks future public requests, but cannot recall a copy someone saved while it was public.
Payments and processors
Square hosts card checkout; Glimmerproof receives purchase, order, payment, customer, amount, refund, status, and dispute references, not full card numbers. Cloudflare provides the Worker, image decoding, database, queue, and media storage. The configured generation provider receives the normalized source needed to render the selected video.
Operational records
Request logs include route, status, duration, and a request identifier. They exclude passwords, planner values, source bodies, and payment secrets.
Your controls
Your account controls each video's visibility and shows the credit ledger. Use the merchant support address on your purchase receipt for account-data or deletion requests that are not available through those controls.
